Joe Louis Sanchez, age 40, and a long-time resident of New Braunfels, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at his home in New Braunfels. Joe was born on April 7, 1979 in Victoria, TX to Joe Anthony Sanchez and Marian Saldana. Survivors include his loving wife, Yvonne Sanchez; 12 children; four grandchildren; mother, Marian Saldana; father, Joe A. Sanchez, and step-father, Daniel Hernandez. In addition, Joe is survived by his sisters, Dawn S. Mayorga, Nioami Ybarra and Marina Hernandez. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church with the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. All services will end at the conclusion of the Funeral Mass on Thursday morning.
