John Edward McQuillen

John ( Jack) Edward McQuillen, 66, passed away Sunday morning, January 22, 2017, at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels, TX. John was born on April 6, 1950, in Reading, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph McQuillen and Carolyn Miller McQuillen. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marianne Kauffman McQuillen.
John attended Pennsylvania State University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Surveying. While he spent the majority of his professional career working as a licensed professional land surveyor, he also worked alongside his wife, Marianne, at Rainbow Home of Berks County, where they attended to the needs of terminally ill AIDS patients. Prior to his retirement, he worked as an AutoCAD designer for Dolan Construction.
John is survived by his two sons, Christopher and Joseph McQuillen; grandchildren, Benjamin, Mason and Gavin McQuillen; siblings, Steve McQuillen, Eileen Fatzinger, Karen Miller, and Kathleen Lytle. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed dearly.
