Jose Antonio Lopez, a resident of San Marcos, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2015 in San Marcos at the age of 51. Jose was born on September 30, 1963 in Xala, Mexico to the late Pablo Gregorio Lopez-Hernandez and Angelica Rojas-Ortiz. Jose was a diesel mechanic for the City of New Braunfels. Survivors include his sons, Daniel Lopez and Jose Antonio Lopez, II; daughter, Karina Angelica Lopez; brother, Jose Pablo Lopez-Rojas; sisters, Maria Soledad, Eloisa Lopez-Rojas, Maria Alejandra Lopez-Rojas, Maria Esperanza Lopez-Rojas, Maria Julieta Lopez-Rojas and Maria Cristina Angelica Lopez-Rojas.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church from 9:30-10:30am. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 10:00am, followed by Mass at 10:30am. All services will conclude at the end of Mass.

I will certainly miss Jose’s cheery smile as he used to come in and fill up his water bottle during the day. He was always such an upbeat person. Prayers to the family.
