Juanita A. Leos

juanita leos
Juanita A. Leos was born on December 11, 1927 in San Marcos, Texas. She entered into eternal rest on October 19, 2014. She was mourning the loss of her grandson Joe L. Pia Sr., who recently passed on to join our family in heaven on August 8, 2014. Juanita was surrounded by her children at her bedside while she took her last sweet breath. She spent her life caring and loving others and giving of herself selflessly. She loved her husband, her children, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren unconditionally. She loved visiting with friends, family, and neighbors. She loved to play BINGO! Her skills in the kitchen were one of a kind, and her tamales were the best! The definition of "Exemplary" is serving as a desirable model; representing the best of its kind. She was a very strong woman, and she loved with every ounce of her being. She never gave up on anyone, even when some of us gave up on ourselves; she was and always will be the heart and the soul of our family. She will always live on in our hearts and our memories and will be missed forever. She is preceded in death by her parents Eusebio and Petra Alejos. Her husband Domingo Leos Sr., sons Ruben A. Leos, Rey A. Leos, and Johnny A. Leos, and grandson Joe L. Pia Sr. Juanita is survived by her only sister Natalia A. Aleman and family of New Braunfels. Children Laurie L. Hart of Waynesburg PA, Domingo Leos Jr. and wife Janie of San Antonio Texas, Lupe L. Rivera and husband Joe Rivera of Wharton Texas, Robert Leos of New Braunfels, Ofelia L. Pia and husband Xavier Pia of Canyon Lake Texas., Beatrice Leos Gomez and family of New Braunfels Texas. Grandchildren Christina Fuller, Kevin Hart, James Hart, Michelle Hart, Joe Rivera Jr., Richard Rivera & wife Dora, Alex Rivera, Bacilio Pia III and wife Jessica and Family, Ruben L. Pia and Danielle and Family, Julian L. Gomez Jr., Andrea L. Gomez, Teresa Lopez and Mike Lopez and Family, Lialonnie Leos and Family, and the late Joe L. Pia Sr. Grandma had numerous great-grandchildren, and she will be missed dearly by all of her loving family. Thank you to the staff at Colonial Manor Nursing Home for the care she received throughout the years. To all of the nurses and the nurse's assistants and staff who cared and loved our beloved mother as if she was their own. Memorial service and mass will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 2:00pm followed by reception. A private internment for immediate family only will follow. Thank you family and friends for your prayers and support from The Leos Family.
