Judith Rodriguez Mendoza, a resident of San Antonio, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Northeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 37. Judith was born on August 30, 1976 in San Marcos. Survivors include her loving husband, John Mendoza; children, Ian, Isolde and Gavin Mendoza; parents, Augie and Maria Villanueva; grandmother, Cresenciana Rodriguez; siblings, AJ and Jennifer Villanueva, Nydia Villanueva and Mario and Kevin and Krystal Villanueva; mother-in-law, Jennifer M. Mendoza and Brandon. In addition, Judith is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. She will be missed dearly. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Rev. Camillo Botello, Jr., MSF, VF as celebrant. Interment will follow at Hill Country Memorial Gardens. Please note: there will not be a procession from the funeral home to the church on Monday morning. Those wishing to attend the Funeral Mass are asked to meet at the church at 9:45 am on Monday morning.

Once I got to know you in school you weren’t so quite shy. You were always there for anyone who needed your help. You will be dearly missed.

  4. Judy was like another Tia to me and will always be. She was there when I was born and growing up. Since I was younger I can’t recall any good memories I had with her but just knowing that she was always around made it better. The last time I saw her was back in 2011 at a family reunion party, I wish I had more time to be able to see her. I love her with all my heart and I will miss her dearly. May she be the beautiful angel smiling down on all of us, my family, and her family, up in Heaven. Rest In Peace Tia Judy.
