Julia Ann (Rabidoux) Bloom peacefully entered eternal life surrounded by family in San Antonio, TX on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the age of 62. Julia was born on July 1, 1960 in Montpelier, Ohio to Dolphis and Jean (Lovette) Rabidoux. Julia was the second of six children. Julie was a beloved wife, mom, memaw, daughter, sister and niece. Julia and Bryan met at a young age of 10 and 9 years old showing dairy cattle for 4-H at the Ingham County Fair in Michigan. They continued to be good friends growing up and their love bloomed from there. Julia and Bryan were married November 1, 1986. Julia is preceded in death by loving family members: brother Doug Rabidoux, brother in law Ralph Dansby, mother in laws Barbara and Jan Bloom, uncles Maurice and Joseph Rabidoux, aunt Mary Lou Greenhoe, aunt Ann Glynn, Jeanne Reinmbold, uncle Pete Lovette and aunt Elaine Anderson. Julia is survived by her loving husband of 36 years Bryan Bloom; children: Robert Bloom (Christy), Lee Bloom, Larry Bloom (Amanda), and Teresa Bloom (fiance Justin), sixteen grandchildren: Lilli, Daisy, Bobby, Mercedes, Jada, Kambria, Will, Johnny, Avery, Caden, Jeremy, Sariah, Shauna, Kenzie, Landen and Lorraine. She is also survived by her parents Dolphis and Jean Rabidoux; father in law Joe Bloom, siblings Dolphis Rabidoux, David Rabidoux (Tracy), Jill Bienz (Carl), Dean Rabidoux, sisters and brothers in law: Jill Rabidoux, Cindy Dansby, Mike Bloom (Debbie), Scott Bloom, Carrie Hayward (Mark), and Ruth Bloom. Aunts Sue and Marjorie Rabidoux, Joann McCrum, Judy Bloom, Nancy Ruder and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Julia loved being in the kitchen both baking cookies and pies and cooking big homemade meals to serve her family and even the neighborhood including her famous seven layer salad. Julia had a big heart caring for others from people with special needs for 20 years to friends in the neighborhood. Their door was always open especially on the holidays so no one would ever be alone. Everyone knew her as “Big Momma.” A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.     A: I first met Julia’s mother.,at the fair then got to know .Julia, along with Brian. A nicer family couldn’t be found then these two family’s.and Brian and Julia learned well from their parents. It is with a heavy heart that Brian has lost Julia, may God bless him and his family as the long days ahead seem to reach out and grab them. My love goes out to a of you.
