  1. I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God’s sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

  2. Kathryn, my sweet little sister … I’ll miss her every single day until we meet again.

  3. Kathi was my boss, and a dear friend to me! She was such a joy to be with, and will dearly be missed. My prayers go out to the family! Love you Jackie Akin

  4. My condolences to the Haden families. I’m sorry to hear about the loss of dear Kathryn. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: “Your dead ones will live…They will rise up”. And the Bible also says “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it”. Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out”. This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ’s ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering. I hope that these scriptures will be of some comfort to you.

  5. Kathi was a great person that will be terribly missed. I have known orher for 26 years and she always helped me out with baby clothes and baby furniture. She will forever be missed. She was a kind hearted lady and I will miss sees her smiling face when I go into her store. RIP Kathi. Gone too soon! I will always remember Kathi and her family dressed up for Halloween. Leah, Laura and Gerald please know my thought and prayers are with you.

  6. Everyone, the address I have for Mountain Valley Cemetery is 1901 Sattler Road. I hope you all can find it okay.

  7. Kathi has been my best friend for almost 30 years. Hardly a day went by that we didn’t talk or text, even when one of us was out of the country. I probably know more about her family than they’d be comfortable with…and her, about mine. She loved Gerald, her girls, and her grandkids more than words can express. I will miss her forever and think about her every day.

  8. We are so sorry to hear for your loss. She was always a nice and kind person. Prayers for all of you
