Kenneth Miller, a resident of Canyon Lake, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at his home at the age of 73. Kenneth was born on October 28, 1941 in San Francisco, CA to the late Melford Miller and Lorraine Bowers Miller. Kenneth served his country proudly in the United States Air Force and later became a physics teacher. Survivors include his loving children, Kendra Merrill and husband, Joshua, Nick Miller and wife, Maegan and Allyson Buck and husband, Austin; grandchildren, Kate, Gwyn, Stella and Garrett. In addition, Kenneth is also survived by his sister, Patricia Rothermal. A time to visit with the family will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with a Holy Rosary recited at 8:00pm on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 180 St. Thomas Dr., Canyon Lake, 78133. The Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:00am on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with a reception to follow at the church. The funeral procession will depart at 12:15pm from the church for a 1:15pm arrival time at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery where graveside services will be held with military honors.

  3. I taught with Ken at Randolph High School. He was an intelligent, student-centered teacher and a friend. He was a charter member of our “Breakfast Club” and was a fun contributor. Rest in peace friend.

  7. To the Miller Family, Mr. Miller was my Physics teacher at John Paul II High School for only one semester but he was by far one of our favorite teachers ever. He was excited for everyday and brought so much life to the class. He was our friend just as much as he was our teacher. My class and I will miss him and are praying for all of you. God Bless.
