Kimberly Lin Sargent died Saturday, November 21 after a brief illness. Kimberly was born May 14, 1968 in Houston, Texas to Joyce Summers and the late Glenn Sargent. Kimberly is survived by her husband, Chris Lechner of New Braunfels, her mother, Joyce, of Cibolo, Texas, a brother, Jeff Summers of Wyoming, a sister Cathy Gaines of Tulsa, Oklahoma and an extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. Kimberly was a Realtor with Texas Realty, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services in Austin, Texas. Kimberly was friend above all else. She took on peoples challenges as if they were her own and was there for many people during good times and bad. Kimberly's heart was matched only by her smile which instantly brightened a room and provided comfort to many during difficult times. Everyone she met was taken by her compassion and willingness to comfort. With Kimberly it was always about fixing wrongs and being there for family and friends. Kimberly traveled the world and made friends everywhere she visited a lived life to the fullest. Kim will be missed.   1. There is a great emptiness left by Kim’s passing, but I am certain that the strength of the kindness that we share for each other and for Kim will get us through this difficult time. May that kindness honor Kim’s memory and may we cherish the many wonderful memories we had together. I especially remember Kim’s gentle spirit and loving nature. Kim will always be remembered as an especially loving and giving person of great character.

  4. I can’t even say how much Kim will be miss. She had such a free spirit and was up for all adventures. Since she was eight years old I have followed her adventures and spirit. She spent weeks with her cousins taking them on a few of her trips. Love you and miss her.

It has been many many years since I have seen or even talked with her, however, she played a huge part in our lives and I should have expressed my gratitude to her! She is the reason Gerald and I met and since then have been together over 30 years! May you all find peace and comfort and thank you Kim from the bottom of our hearts!

I could tell immediatly upon the first phone call from him telling me he had met you that you were special! Once I met you, I could see why – your warm smile and kindness lit up the room! Chris is a happy loving person but your presence in his life made him intact – you were one before the wedding day! Chris and I talked today, but you already know that; thank you for the words to help him begin the healing process, you are amazing
