  1. My DAD- The guy who thought he was cool(also the guy who was not into the latest tech- He used an old school flip phone for years). *taught me about fishing, riding a mini-bike, basketball on the dirt patch in the backyard, hard work, and helping others. * He also taught me about loving country living. Still do to this day.❤️ * He loved his children, fishing, Reba McEntire, the Spurs, and good food. * I grew up a Cowboys fan(Dad didn’t like the Pittsburg Steelers at that time and told you that you shouldn’t either. To this day, I tell Tony I can’t root for the Steelers.Lol) * He had the best flocked Christmas tree one year. *He worked hard even when he was off(kind of crafty in the carpentry department). * He was good with kids, but be ready to arm wrestle. *He listened to George, Ronnie Milsap(on the 8 track back in the day), Tammy Wynette, and Reba. * We made a lot of great memories with my dad(funny the things that stick out).Thank you for all of the thoughts and prayers.❤️ His daughter, Sandra

  2. Dad wasn’t much on technology and those that knew him, knew it hasn’t been long since he finally gave up the flip phone for a more modern smart phone. Talking to him he never complained about much except an occasionally comment about kids today always being on their phones. Dad was an easy-going, old-fashioned man. He loved doing things outside and he loved his family. I’ve always felt so lucky to grow up living by the river doing stuff with him. Him and Carmen introduced me and my kids to their enjoyment of the drag races. We always looked forward to springtime to make a trip to the finals to join him to watch the races. Over the years dad would keep up with the weather where I live. If he knew we were getting floods or major weather coming through, I always got that call, “Susie Q, y’all doing ok”. I can’t believe I won’t ever get those calls again. Dad will be missed more than words could ever describe.

  4. Larry was a very friendly neighbor. He always waved hello. When we first moved in, he welcomed us with a friendly smile. Every time we saw him outside working on his yard, he would ask us how we were doing. We will truly miss his wonderful smile and friendly wave. Rest in peace, Larry.

  5. We pray the love of God brings peace and comfort during this difficult time. Larry will remain in our hearts forever.

  6. Carmen, Randy, Rachel and family, I am saddened to hear of Larry passing away. I would bump into the crew when I was out delivering the mail. Always such a nice man. Please know I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Glenda Thomas
