Lawrence (Larry) E. Wolfe, 63, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at his home. Born on January 28, 1959 in Lawton, Oklahoma, he is the son of Donna L. Gibson (nee Kraynik). To his family, he was known as Kip. Lawrence is survived by his mother, Donna and step-father Larry; brother, Brian; sister-in-law Lori; and three nieces, Riley, Avery, and Zoe Gibson. He was an avid book reader and enjoyed Stephen King and loved Dr. Who. He loved ferrets and had many of them over 40 years. He liked going to concerts and enjoyed artists like The Beatles, Elton John and Lyle Lovett and he was a huge movie buff, especially James Bond. He was a beloved uncle with a kind heart who made his nieces have the funniest memories. He was a child at heart with a quick and witty sense of humor. He also loved playing a video game called Animal Crossing and was a Harry Potter geek and loved bonding over the two with his nieces. He loved his job at Papa John’s and cared very deeply for his bosses, co-workers and customers. A memorial service will be held at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 1:00 PM with a time to gather after the service until 3:00PM.
