Lynda H. Aguilar, a life-long resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Resolute Health Hospital in New Braunfels at the age of 43. Lynda was born on October 17, 1977 in New Braunfels to the late Mario Alfonso Herrera and Severa Gonzales Herrera. She worked as a medical receptionist with Tanya R. Grun, M.D., displaying an honest but caring attitude towards all those she met. Lynda was straight-forward and quick-witted with an amusing charm that was always appreciated. She lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, including spending time with family, baking, photography, and watching the Dallas Cowboys football games with her husband. Lynda was deeply loved by her family and will be sorely missed; always remembered and never forgotten. She was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law, Jaime G. Aguilar, Sr. Survivors include the love of her life and husband of 17-years, Jaime T. Aguilar; children, Oscar Rene Madrigal IV, Vanessa Lynn Madrigal, and Gina Ann Aguilar; siblings, Nelly Mendoza, Mario Herrera Jr., Brenda Rainwater, Candy Greer, Gina Herrera, and Evelyn Georg; mother-in-law, Delia F. Aguilar; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; a host of devoted friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 1:30 PM followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM, all of which will take place at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel.   6. I will always remember Lynda as a devoted daughter/in-law. She would transport my cousin Delia wherever she needed to go. She was also very talented and made beautiful jewelry. I have a beautiful necklace she made for me. I will cherish it forever. My most heartfelt sympathy to Jaime, Delia, & the rest of her family. May the Lord bless you with serenity and peace.

  8. I am So sorry for Your loss. I worked with lynda at the clinic. She was so full of life! I remember getting to the clinic after lunch and I would hear a loud train horn in the back of me lol and it was Lynda always honking with her husbands big ol truck. And I remember coming in one morning to work and telling her “today is going to be a GOOD DAY lynda” and with a big smile on her face she said “that’s the spirit, that’s what I like to hear! “ she was always so positive and I couldn’t wait for her to come back to work…always making jokes and laughing. We are really going to miss her so much.
