Manuela Rodriguez, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Saturday morning, May 26, 2012 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels at the age of 64. Manuela was born on February 10, 1948 in Mexico to Jesus Rodriguez and Margarita Chavez Rodriguez. Manuela worked as a supervisor at the Levi plant in Mexico for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Jesusita Alvarez and Teresa Rodriguez; brothers, Salvador and Victor Rodriguez, and by a brother-in-law, Eli Saenz. Survivors include her sisters, Maria Marin and husband, Jose, Frances Mendoza and husband, Frank and Lucy Saenz. In addition, numerous nieces and nephews survive Manuela as well. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday evening, May 29, 2012 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Santo Tomas Cemetery in Guadalupe County.
