Mara Alexis Griffin

On April 28, 2022, Mara was taken into the arms of God leaving behind her children, Jeremy, Haylee, and Kylie Woodard whom she loved with all her heart. Her mother, Katherine, father, Benson, her sisters Jennifer and Dana, her brothers Benson and Jack are missing their daughter and sister. Her nieces, Alyssa, Ashley, Bryce, Aireoyna, and nephews, Matthew, Cadence, Christian, and Ben loved her laugh and will miss her hugs. Mara brought a sense of fun and adventure that will be greatly missed by her cousins, friends and family. She excelled in gymnastics, softball, and turning cartwheels across the front yard! She always had a smile and a good word towards every person who came in contact with her. She loved fiercely, and always stood up for her family. She was stubborn, loyal, and never gave in when she made a decision or believed she was right. If she stood with you, she would be your strongest ally. She would help you with whatever you needed if she had it to give. She cried over a stray or weak animal and would stay beside it as it drew it's last breath or rush it to where it could receive care. Many people were recipients of Mara's generosity and love. At this time, the family asks their privacy to grieve be respected. A memorial and celebration is planned and will be announced at a future date.
