Marcelina Alexandra Vasquez, "Marcy" age 44, of New Braunfels, passed away peacefully in her home in San Antonio Texas, on the evening of Tuesday October 25, 2022, after losing her battle to cancer. She was surrounded by her loved ones before she was called to heaven. Marcy was born on November 12, 1977, in New Braunfels Texas. She was a graduate of Canyon High School in 1996. Marcy is preceded in death by her mother Diana Lee Romero, great grandmother Marcelina G Madla and Grandfather Andrew G Vasquez. She is survived by her father Herminio (Chuy) Romero, nephew Andrew Romero, sister Victoria Krueger and Anna Juarez and many brothers and sisters. Niece Jasmine Arambula, nephews Eric Arambula and Jorge-Alfredo Gonzalez, sister-in-law Evelyn Rangel and Cousin Carolina Villanueva, best friends Raquel Salazar, Wendy Hernandez and Sally Villarreal. Marcy lived most of her life in New Braunfels, but also lived in the Dallas area, San Marcos, and Kyle before she finally settled in San Antonio Texas. Marcy mainly worked retail management at the Outlets in San Marcos and loved her job. She loved meeting new people from all over the world while working at the Outlets. She loved to hear her customers life stories. Services will be held on Saturday October 29, 2022, from 5pm-8pm with rosary held at 7pm at Lux Funeral Home.

  5. Marcy, Where do I start? You weren’t just my sister in law you were a sister to me, always there for me and my kids. My kiddos were blessed to have an aunt like you. Always excited to know there Tia Marcy was visiting. We will miss you and having you over for dinner and random conversations etc. We love you always and forever! Till we meet again!
