  1. With deepest Sympathy we mourn your loss. Marlys was a wonderful person with a big heart. Even though many miles separated us we enjoyed the precious time we spent together. With love her family in North Dakota, Jon, Sheri,Devin and Brenna.

  2. Loren and family, Phil and friends, I am still in shock of Marlys’s passing. I turn to this reading for strength: “Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.” John 11.25,26 Marlys and I adopted each other as sisters in the 60’s. We laughed, partied, prayed, and shared our secrets together. She was my Maid of Honor, my confidant and my best friend. And now she is our Angel. How lucky we are and yet so sad. Let us keep the sound of her calming voice, her giggle, her precious smile, her soft touch and her beautiful spirit alive in our hearts forever. Let the void in our lives be filed with roses and our sadness an offering of thanks for having known her on this earth. She is resting in peace with her rosary in her hand. Diane Martin and family

  3. Marlys was suppotive, kind, knowledgeable and I could just sit and talk to her for hours. I worked with Marlys at Nurses Today and became friends which was so easy to do. I know you will be dearly missed my friend, heaven just gained a beautiful angel!

  4. Heartfelt words of sympathy to Marlys’s family. She treasured family and she will be missed. Marlys and I have been friends for a long time having met through our nursing careers. Marlys helped me at my company Nurses Today with many things but primarily quality assurance. She was a kind, loving, consistent, detailed individual and a great friend. Her unexpected death is difficult but Marlys had great faith and I know she is with her creator. Love you Marlys.

  5. I am truly saddened by the passing of Marlys. My prayers go out to you Phil and to Loren. May she now Rest In Peace with her mother. I did my residency in Dallas at DSWMC where she worked. I will always treasure our conversations
