Maryann Kincaid Rock, aka "Rock" of New Braunfels, TX was called home on September 6, 2016 at the age of 70. She was born on September 18, 1945. She is survived by her very close friend of almost 30 years, Carol Watson, her two adult children -- Carolyn and Richard, seven grandchildren -- Crystal, Jonathon, Alex, Elizabeth, Amanda, Cassie, and Sammy, one great grandchild -- Pheonna, and loving family friends Dianna Johnson, Sherri Cooley, Sue Pappas and Donna Supluver Known as Granny Rock and Weo to her family, her help and support in raising her grandchildren cannot be understated. Her nuggets of plain spoken wisdom will forever live in our hearts and minds. She had this a way of making you think she would live on forever, her shear will fight would keep her old body going, and a momentum that made you forget exactly how old she was. She proudly and faithfully worked for Harland Clark as a press operator for 30 years. She had a strong work ethic. In retirement, she loved getting away to casinos and playing slot machines. It was during these getaways she was happiest. Maryann Kincaid 'Rocky' Rock, had one of the biggest hearts and one of the sassiest attitudes. Thank You, for everything you did for everybody you came across. You will be missed, remembered, and always loved. Memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at Lux Funeral Home on Saturday September 10, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to: Comal Pet Hospital, 1320 N. Interstate 35, New Braunfels, TX 78130

  1. Love you Sis. You were my favorite and you always looked out for us. Love the old family photos of you holding me. You always had that mothering instinct and love. Hope you are united with Mom and Pop, Barb.

  2. Farewell bff. You were so good to me. Thanks so much for all the wonderful memories. You had such a big heart and always put everyone before yourself and I miss that Loud Laugh. I remember how you were always determined to live forever, such a shame your body could not hang with your mind…Your motto: It’s either fast or not at all”. You are a saint who is now a guardian angel. Hope you are reunited with your Mom and Dad and big Sis Barb. I love you
