  1. We are deeply sorry for your loss ~ Lux Funeral Home & Cremation Services

  2. Scott and I are so very sorry to hear of Bwana’s passing. Ya’ll were some of the first people I met when I came to Seguin over 50 years ago. He was a good friend to so many. He and George are together again. Rest in peace old friend.

  3. My condolences to Mike’s family and friends. I remember him growing up in Seguin. He always had cool cars.

  4. My sincere condolences to Mike’s family and friends. We grew up in Seguin and everyone always had a good time. Larry and I were reminiscing about Mike’s Nova. RIP Mike

  5. Mike was a favorite cousin. Our families spent a lot of time together when we were kids and made some good memories. We had some nice family reunions and he was always helping with the activities. I didn’t see him very much in the last few years but when I did we had some good visits. He will be missed by us all.

  6. Mike and I were born 3 days apart. Our mothers were sisters. We graduated in 1966 from Seguin High School. He was kind and smart. I remember when he would leave way before dawn to go hunting. He enjoyed playing cards and being the emcee at our Jandt-Herbold family reunions. His loveable childhood nickname was Junie-boy. Before we started school, when our moms worked at the tamale factory, my sister, Evylen, Mike and I played many chase and hide and seek games. We spent many hours enjoying each other’s company under the watchful eye of his sister, Dorothy.
Although we were separated as adults because of distance, we enjoyed our family reunions and Mike was always in my heart.
Mike had loyal, good friends who valued him and cared for him. I am very thankful for each of them. I love you, Mike, and I hope you join the family card game where our moms are waiting for you.

  7. My deepest condolences to Michael’s family. He was so sweet our class of 66 will miss him at our luncheons. I wondered where he was at our last weeks luncheon.
    I’m so sorry.

  8. Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Michael?

A: Mike was a math whiz- he prided himself on being able to work problems in his head

  9. Mike and I were childhood friends- after school or on Saturday, we would often play kick football on Humphreys Street
