Michael Garrett

Michael Eien Garrett, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away Wednesday evening, December 11, 2019 in New Braunfels at the age of 18. Michael was born on February 24, 2001 in New Braunfels, TX to Michael D. Garrett and Laura G. Garrett. Michael was a student of Canyon High School and attended Job Corp in Utah to study in automotive. Michael enjoyed making his loved ones smile. He was an incredibly funny character. He loved to be surrounded by his friends and family. Michael showed great empathy towards anyone who needed a friend. His heart was filled with the purest forms of love and kindness and valued the lives of others deeply. Michael was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Odell Garrett and Vicky Sala; maternal grandparents, Jesse and Jovita Gonzalez; uncle, Jesse Gonzalez III; and aunt, Patricia Martinez. Survivors include his parents, Michael D. Garrett and Laura G. Garrett; sister, Amber Garrett; uncles, Gavin (Megan) Garrett, Sean Garrett and Kevin Burgert. Michael is also survived by many cousins, loving family and friends which he adored dearly. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:30 am on Saturday December 21, 2019 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel with services provided by Pastor Johnny Brown. Graveside services will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery #2 at 2:00 pm.
