monita page
Monita Lynn Page was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She passed away on November 12th, 2022 at age 62 after a 3 year battle with cancer. Monita was born in Middlebury, VT on October 6th, 1960 as the fifth child of Marcel & Fleur-Ange Page. She spent her college years at Champlain College & Saint Michael’s College, and went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She spent her life working as a bookkeeper for various small businesses, corporations and family. Monita was a caring and loving woman, and touched the lives of everyone that she met. She was a woman of faith and devout in her beliefs which she brought into her battle with cancer, putting her trust in God every step of the way. Even in the throes of her battle, she still made time for her friends and family - whether that was family movie night to watch the recent Hallmark special, going out to the movie theater, or having a meal with her sisters or her children. Even up to her passing, she had big holiday plans to make holiday treats for all of her friends and family here in Texas. Monita is survived by her two children, Zachary Neill and Nikayla Teague & spouse Sayer Teague; her 7 siblings and spouses Michael & Susan Page, Ivon & Brenda Page, Aime Page, Pierre Page, Melody Page-Ferry & John Ferry, Tina & Cliff Beauchain, Marie Page & Bill Bearor; and countless cousins, nieces and nephews. She is deeply missed, but she is without chronic pain, and she’s now in Heaven and embraced by God. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Monita will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel, where her services will be live streamed so all of her friends and family and family across the country can join in to celebrate her life. 1. I always remember her as being so gentle. Her spirit just always calmed those around her. And that she was always smiling. I have been blessed to have known her.

  2. Monita and I have been friends since first grade. all through elementary, high school and even adjoining colleges, we were together. To others she seemed quiet and shy but to those of us who knew her, her sense of humor (I will NEVER forget her laugh), know that she could be pretty darn mischievous. Oh, we had such fun. I will miss her. Niki and Zak, hugs to both of you. She loved you both with all of her heart.

  3. Monita, may your spirit shine in heaven! We are all with you in prayers! Love you! Eugene Page family from Canada! Xox

    I will truly miss her.
I send my love and prayers to the family and all those who loved her.

  6. Q: How did you meet Monita?

A: Monita and I met in College, Champlain College, I know I have a photo here and there, but I’m I don’t know they are right now. When Monita was here in VT we would visit each other on occasion, she spent the night here and we shared how life was going. She was a true angel, a sweet kind friend, I was blessed to know her and be her friend! I only wish I had known she was ill. I feel I didn’t get to let her know how much I valued and loved our friendship! Love you always dear friend! Roxanna Emilo
