Nell Rose Kraft gained her angel wings on September 23, 2022. She was born on November 12, 1929, in Sattler, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Linda Rahe, son-in-law, Frank Hinojosa and son-in-law, Johnny Espinosa. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Linnell Hinojosa , Eileen Espinosa, Nelvia Meneley and Billy Balderas, brother, Alton Rahe and wife Yvonne, son-in-law, Sion Meneley, grandchildren, Anthony Hinojosa, Patrick Hinojosa and wife, Priscilla, David Hinojosa and wife, Meaghan, Theresa Keltner, Joseph and wife, Megan, Ryan Meneley and wife, Amy, Risa Crouch and husband, Wes, Russ Meneley, great grandchildren ,Braeden Hinojosa, Dezmon Mendoza, Jayson Keltner, Kaitlyn Keltner, Jacob Keltner, Michael Meneley, Colson Kovar, Johnny Crouch, Melody Crouch and Gracey Crouch, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Nell Rose enjoyed going to her grandchildren's sporting events that included football, baseball, soccer and basketball games. She liked to cook and bake. Her grandchildren especially enjoyed her grilled cheese sandwiches and spaghetti. Nell Rose was a member of the Christian Mothers Society at Saints Peter and Paul Church. She loved family gatherings and celebrating birthdays. Nell Rose worked as a bookkeeper at Firestone. Later, Nell Rose and her husband ran a grocery store, gas station and bar in New Braunfels. She was a nutritionist at Eden Home for many years. She was a housekeeper and caregiver for several retired couples. Our mother was an awesome caregiver. She took care of both her parents until the last few months of their lives to keep them out of the nursing home just as her three daughters did for her. Visitation will be held at Lux Funeral Home on Sunday, October 2, 2022, from 5-9 pm with a 7 pm Rosary and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 3, 2022, at 10 am at Saints Peter and Paul Church followed by burial at Saints Peter and Paul cemetery.
