Paul E. Carlile, Jr.

Paul E. Carlile, Jr., a resident of Spring Branch, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Resolute Health Hospital in New Braunfels at the age of 56. Paul was born on January 19, 1964 in Kerrville, TX to the late Paul Eugene Carlile, Sr. and Mary Pullin Carlile. Paul spent most of his professional career employed as a heavy equipment operator and foreman. Paul was smart and loved to share his knowledge to guide and encourage others. He truly enjoyed learning and creating things that involved his hobbies; fishing and leather work. He was so energetic, ambitious, and hard working to accomplish his dreams and goals. He was always such a loving, devoted and supportive husband, father, brother, and friend. Paul stood by the scripture that he had tattooed on his arm, John 3:17, that only God was to judge a person. He believed in forgiving others and not judging anyone. Paul always gave with a big heart and smile that will be missed dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mary Carlile, and his sister, Bonnie Conklin. Survivors include his loving wife, Gracie Carlile; children, Danielle, Olivia and her husband, Brandon, Jacob and step-daughter from a previous marriage, April; grandson, Paul Alexander; sister, Roxie Lambert; nephews, Ed and Larry Lambert; nieces, Mary and Crystal and a range of extended family members and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with the funeral service beginning at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. All services will end on Wednesday evening.
