Perry Martin Frisbey, age 76 passed away peacefully in New Braunfels, TX on June 20, 2022, held by the hands of his family. Born in Kansas City, Missouri to the parents of Mary Frances Ayres and Jess Williard Frisbey. Perry was preceded in death by his wife Sherry Ellen Frisbey, his brothers Ray and Jess Frisbey and both his parents. Perry has 2 surviving brothers Gary and Isaac Frisbey and 2 children, Andrea Christine Frisbey and Perry Martin Frisbey II with three grand-children Megan, Daniel and Lucas Frisbey. Perry in his youth he was a volunteer fireman, an avid basketball player and outdoor canoes man. Recently he passed his ARRL ham radio license for fun. He retired from a long career with Underwriters Laboratories of over 30 years. His favorite past time however was golfing and gathering for drinks with his friends and golf buddies. His favorite hole was the 19th hole to celebrate his spoils. He also loved long road trips, fishing at the coast and barbeques with his family. Perry was a veteran of the Vietnam War and during his service earned the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service and Campaign Medals. He served honorably and with distinction in the U.S. Navy and achieved the rank of Dental Technician Third Class (DT3). In Lieu of flowers if you can please donate to: Universal City Professional Firefighters Association (IAFF Local 4073) 2150 Universal City Blvd Universal City, TX 78148 A viewing will be held at Lux Funeral Home in New Braunfels TX from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 and a memorial service with full Military Honors will commence on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Leavenworth National Cemetery at 150 Muncie Road, Leavenworth, KS 66048.
