Raul O. Perez

Raul O. Perez, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels at the age of 85. Mr. Perez was born on June 30, 1928 in Marion to Antonio Perez and Cruz Orosco Perez. Mr. Perez retired from Mission Valley Mills after some 15-years of dedicated service. Raul was preceded in death by eight brothers and four sisters. Survivors include his loving wife of 57-years, Francisca V. Perez; children, Emily Grubbs and husband, Thomas, Carlos Perez, Gloria Sanchez and husband, Edward and Paul Perez; grandchildren, Richard Torres, Jr., Robert Torres, Venessa Perez, Edward Sanchez, Jr., Adrian Sanchez, Sabrina Sanchez, Lillian Perez and Derek Perez; great-grandchildren, Alina and Landon Sanchez. In addition, Mr. Perez is also survived by two brothers, Jose O. Perez and Carmen O, Perez, and one sister, Maria Perez De La Cruz. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service scheduled for 7:00 PM on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. All services will end at the conclusion of the visitation on Sunday evening.
