Raymond V. Fuentes

Raymond V. Fuentes, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away at his home on Tuesday evening, February 21, 2023, at the age of 81. Mr. Fuentes was born on August 4, 1941, in Waco, TX to the late Reginaldo Fuentes, Jr. and Emilia Villarreal Fuentes. Raymond was employed as a cook at Adobe Café in New Braunfels for many years. Mr. Fuentes was preceded in death by his loving wife, Odilia Correa Fuentes, who passed away on February 4, 2013; five grandchildren; three brothers and one sister. Survivors include his daughters, Margaritta Quintanilla (Mike), Mary Jane Fuentes (George Rodriguez), Jeanette Rosales (Paco) and Eva Leos; sons, Raymond, Jr., Robert, Adam, Joe and Gilbert Fuentes; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brother, Nick Fuentes and sisters, Carolina Fuentes, Camilia Castellano, Eva Fuentes and Catherine Martinez. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 PM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery on Peace Ave, where Mr. Fuentes will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife.
