Rebecca Kaye Peel

rebecca peel
Rebecca Kaye Peel, age 63, passed away in comfort at her home on Thursday, July 19, 2018. Becky was born on March 15, 1955 in Kerrville, Texas to Wilbur R. and Margie Ely Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her loving husband of 37 years, Kenneth Wayne Peel; children, Kale Wayne Peel, James Taylor Peel aka Tater Tot, and daughter-in-law Jennie Peel; grandchildren, Matthew, Bruce Wayne, and Kayeleigh Mae Peel; siblings, Randy Brown and Robin Mullenax. Becky's journey, much like our own, was one of life, filled with love, embraced by laughter, and persevered with an undeniable will. To know her for but a moment, you would be certain of three things. Her Heart. An endless love that was available to all and that door was always open. She raised her two boys with tender hearts, spoiled those grand babies, and brought many other children both into her heart and her home. From proud daughter and loving sister, to wonderful wife and for many a good friend. Her love was a true love. And that will never end. Her Strength. There was very little that could bring Becky down. Next to nothing that could keep her there. From running her own business to being a foundation for her family and others. She was always a friend you could trust in, a gentle soul to lean on. The power she possessed will be carried on by those who she empowered. And in that, we appreciate her. Her Voice. While she'd certainly sing along if it was the right song, she could talk at anytime of the day. Becky lived life to the fullest and had the stories to back it up. With a lingering voice in our ear it is not burden, but a blessing to carry those memories with us. Our responsibility to share them with those we meet along the way. Our privilege to have known her. In conclusion, if you ever find yourself asking if you were loved? Her answer would be anyways and always. How much? To the moon and back. And if she had the chance to tell you farewell. She'd simply say, "I love you bye".
