Robert "Bobby" Barboza, 63, of New Braunfels, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels. Born on May 18, 1951 in Highlands, TX, he was the son of the late Tone and Juanita Barboza. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Julian Barboza. Bobby is survived by his children, Belinda Camareno and her husband Jon, Bobby, James, Angelita and Matthew Barboza; grandchildren, Ethan, River and Shelby Camareno; siblings, Oralia Barboza and her husband Edward, Ricky Barboza and his wife Olivia, Oscar Barboza and his wife Liz, David Barboza and his wife Teresa, Melba Cruz and her husband Chencho and Melinda Gonzales and her husband Joe. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and -nephews and cousins. A visitation will be held at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 5:00-9:00pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. Visitation will continue at Sts. Peter and Paul Church on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 9:00-10:00am with a Funeral Mass to begin at 10 am. Interment will be private. Note: There will not be a procession from the funeral home to the church on Thursday. Please meet directly at church.

  22. I still cant believe your gone. I wish I had more time with to spend with you and my cousins but I lived so far away. I loved the way you always greeted everyone with a smile and a great big hug. your smile was priceless it lit up the whole room. I always enjoyed our talks when you would come over to the house and tell me stories and I would share mine with you and we would laugh and you would say ” I could be here all day” I will hold our last conversation dear to my heart.
