  2. We will miss Robert tremendously. He was a part of our family for many, many years. A day without him is heartbreaking. What a beautiful, sweet, caring man inside and out. 3. Robert was one of the kindest men we have ever had the pleasure of getting to know! Always funny and upbeat, he never had an unkind word to say about anyone. If he ever thought it, he never put it out there in the universe. He will be missed by so many for years to come. Decades! Seth and I are thankful to Suzanne and John for introducing us to Robert several years ago. It was surely a blessing, even if only for a little while.

His River Road family will be mourning this tremendous loss indefinitely! Much love to his family and friends, near and far… Robert, you’re finally home <3 We'll always love you!

  4. Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Nothing has happened. Everything remains exactly as it was. I am I , and you are you, and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone.Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together.Play, smile, and think of me, pray for me.Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.Let it be spoken without an effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it.Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is absolute and unbroken continuity. What is this death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well.

  5. It has taken me 4 years to deal with your passing dad. There is not a day that goes by that you don’t cross my mind. I miss you so very much.and I await the day that I see you again and can hug your neck. I will be missing you and thinking of you in the mean time…I love you dad.
