Ronald Lee Hutcherson Sr., age 86, of Spring Branch, Texas, passed away peacefully at North Central Baptist Hospital on December 4, 2022. Ron was born May 26, 1936, in Amonate, West Virginia, to Samuel and Virginia Hutcherson. After graduation he was accepted into a training program with the FBI in their Criminal Research Department. He then was offered and accepted a position with Olivetti-Underwood Corporation and after several years transition to Savin Corporation where he had great success and was eventually promoted to VP of Sales for the south-easter region. Desiring to own his own business, he purchased a temporary storage company which he managed for many years. Eventually His business was bought out and he retired. Ron had a real passion for life, a sports enthusiast, loved playing golf, reading, traveling, attending church, and spending time with family and friends. Ron will be greatly missed! He is survived by his wife, Dolores A. Hutcherson, sons, Ron Hutcherson, Jr. and David Hutcherson, and predeceased Mark Hutcherson, brothers, Robert Hutcherson, Savannah, Georgia, and Jack Hutcherson, Chesapeake, Maryland, and predeceased Sam Hutcherson, Capital Heights, Maryland. He is also survived by numerous friends and other loving family members. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Hill Country Memorial Gardens in New Braunfels, Texas. Donations in memory of Ron may be made to the charity or church of your choice.

  3. I feel like I lost a brother. Ron was always so nice and loving to me and our large extended family. He bought my first baseball glove and first typewriter. Always considerate and thoughtful, he was truly “one of a kind”. Forever a Big Creek Owl and one heck of a dancer, Big Ron go in peace. Love ,your little brother Robert Farley.
