Rosie L. Rojas, a resident of Marion, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday evening, September 25, 2018 at the age of 69. Rosie was born on May 22, 1949 in New Braunfels to the late Manuel Leal, Sr. and Felicitas Ruiz Leal. Rosie was employed as a front-end manager for Walmart, and retired after 30 years of dedicated service. She will be sorely missed. She was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, Manuel Leal, Jr. and Ruben Leal, Sr. Survivors include her loving husband of 33 years, Jose P. Rojas; children, Patricia Esquivel and Rosalinda Duncan and husband, Anthony; grandchildren, Orlando Gonzalez, Jr., Benjamin Esquivel and Vincent Esquivel; sisters, Hortencia Pozos and husband, Juan and Anita Rios; brother, Hector Leal and wife, Herlinda. In addition, Rosie is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume starting at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the funeral home with the funeral service starting at 3:00 PM. Interment will immediately follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery #2 located off of FM 482.
