Sandra Sue (Mitchell) Harter
December 22, 1940 ~ April 19, 2013
Sandra Sue (Mitchell) Harter, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away at her home on Friday, April 19, 2013 at the age of 72. Sandra was born on December 22, 1940 in Huntington, IN to John Phillip Wuertley and Elsie Marcell Householder Wuertley. Later in life Sandra married Charles E. Harter. In addition, she was a long-time employee of Coors Ceramics Company, where she worked as a research and development technician. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her loving husband, Charles E. Harter; children, Debra Jackson, James Jackson, Jr., Lorie Schroeder, Kimberley Thompson and Scott Hollon; brothers and sisters, Carl Wuertley, Helen Baker and Lavonna Harper; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday, April 22, 2013 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel, followed by the funeral service, which starts at 2:00 PM with Reverend Adam Cork officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at South Whitley Cemetery in South Whitley, IN.
