Saragoza Moreno, USAF, (Ret.) a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Resolute Health in New Braunfels at the age of 64. He was born on January 7, 1950 in Briggs, TX to the late Jose M. Moreno and Emilia Hernandez Moreno. Saragoza retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant. Survivors include his loving wife, Vicki Moreno; children, Marcia Lynn Flores, Frances O'Conner, Kimberly Moreno, Jerry Elkins, Cindy Sparks and Steve Elkins; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Elida Haynes, Mary Ellen McComick and husband, Bob, Rose Ann Gable and husband, Ron, Mary Ann Gore and husband, Blandon and Jose Moreno and wife, Carmen. Memorial services will military honors will take place at 2:00pm on Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Richard Nicholls officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital-www.stjude.org.

I regret that few military stay in touch after they separate. Mo was a pleasure to be around and I share your loss. Remember how he made us all laugh. He will be missed. God Bless, Bill.
So sorry to hear this. Just hear about Mo from Cindi. I met Mo through her and her ex-husband “London Lou” back in the 80’s when Mo was stationed in Abilene. Such a funny man. Somehow we lost touch but always asked Cindi and Lou anytime I talked with them about how he was. So sorry for your Loss Vicki and family. Marcia, I remember you and still think of you. I met you when you lived with your Dad for a short time in Abilene. I remember going to the school with you one day, Remember. I remember his cute dog, Lou Lou..Whatever happened to him? I also met one of his sister, Can’t remember her name, Mary maybe?? I once wrote a song for Kimberly for her Dad. He said he was going to give it to her. I know he LOVED his children very much and spoke of them often. Such fond memories of those years. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I did not know he had remarried. So happy he found someone to share those years with. He will be missed. Thinking of you all during this hard time. Words can not express how much I feel for your loss.
