Stephen Moreno, a loving husband and father, passed away on April 2, 2017 at his home in New Braunfels. Stephen was born April 22, 1969. He is survived by his wife, Shannon Scott Moreno; sons, Stephen Zakary and Stephen Zane; parents, Frank and Linda Moreno; brothers, Frank Moreno and family and Sam Moreno and family and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Stephen was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesus and Pilar Ramirez, Alfredo and Julia Ramirez, and Juan and Theresa Moreno. Stephen was born and raised in New Braunfels. He graduated from New Braunfels High School in 1988. He achieved the honor of Eagle Scout. Stephen was an avid pool player and the director of the Comal County Pool League. He loved to vacation in Las Vegas. He was an adoring father, involved with his sons' various activities. He will be sadly missed by all his family, friends, and people whose lives he touched. A time to greet the family will be held from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by the Rosary, which will start at 11:30 AM. on Thursday April 6, 2017 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The Memorial Mass will follow at 12 noon. A reception will follow at St. Mary's Hall of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. All services will end at the conclusion of the Memorial Mass.   5. Steven and I were friends from High School. We enjoyed a lot of time together and had many friends in common…I have not seen or talked to him for many years, but I will always remember how sweet, loving, and kind he always was. My heart is with all of his family.

  14. Shannon, I was so sorry to read about Steve, I enjoyed our visits at the travel agency and always welcomed him. Sweet guy and loved and adored you when you were dating and after your marriage. I remember our many chats. He will be missed, I know he had many friends. God Bless you and your children. God has another angel in heaven.
