It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Terence Raynard Young from West Palm Beach, Florida better known as “Terry” who died on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at the age of 52, at his home in New Braunfels, Texas. Military Honors will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020, 10:15 am, Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Shelter #2, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas 78209. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020, 12:30 pm, Lux Funeral Home, 1254 N. Business 35 N., New Braunfels, Texas 78130. He is preceded in death by his mother, Knovella Boston and brothers Ronaldo J. Young and Jarett E. Young He is survived by his wife of 31 years Esther S. A. Bailey-Young; daughter Tisha T. S. Young; sons Terence R. Young II, TiJon R. Young, and Tyrel R. Young; father Ronald E. Young (Jackie); father-in-law, Kelvin S. Bailey, Sr. (Lori); mother-in-law, Emelda Bailey; brothers, Darrell Mitchell (Torrae), Omari (Kim), and Ivan (Erica); brothers-in-law, Elroy Batchelor, Dion Batchelor, and Kelvin S. Bailey Jr. (Tess); sisters, Regina Snow, LeRontyne Williams, and Robyn Pope; sister-in-law, Caron A. Bailey; grandchildren, Austin D. Beckett-Young, Ayden R. J. Young, Jayce C. Young, and Penelope P. M. N. West. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins too many to mention. A heartfelt mention to family and friends who survived him in the United States Armed Forces, fellow Veterans, brothers of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Incorporated, Department of Defense Civilians and the Masonic Order Communities. Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic and the resulting health mandates, the family requests invitation only service. Masks or facial coverings must be worn at all gatherings.
