Terry “La Chiquita” Trejo, a life-long resident of New Braunfels, passed away early Sunday morning, February 11, 2018 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 49. Terry was born on September 10, 1968 in New Braunfels to Joe G. Trejo, Jr. and Armanda Martinez Rodriguez. “La Chiquita”, as Terry was affectionately known by family and friends was preceded in death by her father, Joe G. Trejo, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Jose and Sylveria Trejo, Sr. and by her maternal grandparents, Epifanio and Angelita Martinez, Sr. Survivors include her husband of 16 years, William Frank Barganier, III; son, Joe Ray Garcia; grandsons, Damon and Fredy Garcia; mother, Armanda Rodriguez; brother, Abel Trejo and wife, Michelle; sister, Nancy Gonzalez and husband, Felipe. In addition, she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday evening, February 16, 2018 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM on Saturday morning, February 17, 2018 at the funeral home with funeral services beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.

My condolences to the Trejo families. I’m sorry to hear about the untimely loss of dear Terry. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: “Your dead ones will live…they will rise up”. And the Bible also says “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it”. Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out”. This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ’s ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering. Best memory was T always saying her smile was better than mine. Just always stopping me, smiling and walking looking back and pointing at me. Her Heart was pure. Her soul was Beautiful. God Bless You T❤

The Bible says : “Our father who is in heaven hallow be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done ON EARTH As it is IN heaven.” THIS is a government under Jesus. When he does he will bring back the dead here on Earth to be alive again. He will put and end to death no more wars, tears, pain, sickness. also the Earth will be made a paradise with tame animals. My deepest ,most sincere condolences to the trejo family. Terry and i went to school together and her family attended my grampas church back in the day. May the love of God and his peace be with you all during this difficult totime me of grief.
