  6. I am so sorry for your loss! My heart is broken for you!! Tommy was such a nice guy and always treated people with respect and kindness!! Words can not express my sadness for your loss and all the people whom he touched!! May God bless you with His compassion and healing and love and grace and mercy!!

  7. I met Tommy our first day in the dorms at South West Texas State. We became fast friends and after the first semester, became roommates for the next couple of years. I remember the night we first met Kathy at a party, and I knew that Tommy was hooked. I have so many great memories of outrageous adventures, most of them out in the wilderness, fishing, camping, tubing, exploring. One thing is certain, Tommy was beloved. People have always been drawn to him. He had a charisma, a spark that quickly put people at ease and drew them in. He was a brilliant guy with a quick wit, and the ability to make any situation memorable and fun! He was part philosopher, part sage, part entrepreneur and part jester. Tommy also loved people. He had a humungous heart, and he carried all his friends and family around with him wherever he went. He remembered people, and he strove to stay in touch and keep up with everyone he could. He looked out for the overlooked. I will always cherish the time I had with my brother. I am praying for you, Kathy and Zoe, with all my heart. May the Lord give you peace, direction and provision for the journey ahead. May He bless you with grace, mercy and love. May He carry you through your grief and heal all your wounds.

  8. How do you write something for someone that you would never expect to pass at such an early age? I knew Tom while we worked at AIM. He was such a great employee and well respected individual and always stood up for what was right, in this sometimes messed up World. I have not kept in touch with him, but I would follow his career since he left AIM. I knew that whatever he would decide to do, he would be great at it. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Sincerely, Dena Yebernetsky

  9. Dear Kathy & Zoe, Tommy was one of those rare individuals that comes along and significantly touches many lives. I pray that during this challenging time, the Lord will ease your pain and strengthen you for the road that lies ahead.

  12. Words can never describe how sorry I am. Tommy was a great man and will be truly missed by everyone who was lucky to meet him. My heart and thoughts go out to you Kathy and Zoe. Always in our hearts forever. Love you both.

  13. I grew up next door to Tommy, I think I was 6 when we met. I had a BIG crush on him until my over protective Dad pointed out that he was WAY too old for me. (Tommy 12)But every now and then we would sit on the curb and have small chats about nothing. When we reconnect on Facebook and he called me “his little neighbor”. Tommy surprised me when he said this about my Dad in personal message on FB “he meant a lot to me as I thought he was super cool, and he had a kind of had a father effect on me with some of the talks we had about life and growing up,, and me being raised by a single mother. I’ve thought of him often when reflecting back on the years after I took off to SWTSU for my six years of Party Time in San Marcus.Tommy had a very unique soul, he was one in a million. I’m not sure who his Mom was most proud of…him or the beautiful grand-daughter he gave her. My thoughts and prayers go out to each and everyone of you.

  14. Why? So young and dearly loved, living a loving life. May you be able to shine on your loved ones. Shooting stars are fun. All my love and thoughts go out to Kathy, Zoe and Barbara. Love you, Tommy.

  15. Much love to Kathy and Zoe in this difficult time.. Tommy was truly a precious soul. He was that person that loved everyone and touched so many lives. I’m going to miss him dearly and the 2:00am phone calls to talk about life.. God speed my sweet friend!

  16. Tommy is the most entertaining person I have ever known! loyal and great friend – I love you Kathy and Zoe

  17. OUR DEAR FRIEND… Today is the day you will be laid to rest, But you know what they say, God only takes the best. Everything happens for a reason, Even if we may not agree. Just promise to look after us, And if you can, Save a spot up there for me. The thought of never seeing you again brings tears to our eyes, And even more so, Because all of this was such a surprise. But we should never question what God has planned, Sometimes it’s not meant for us to understand. So as we sit here and mourn the loss of a beloved friend, We have to keep telling ourselves that we will meet again. RIP Tommy you will be so truly missed…

  18. Every time I saw Thomas he had a smile. He was a very hard worker and a fantastic person. He will be missed. Norma Flores
