  1. My condolences to the Tristan families. I’m sorry to hear about the loss of dear Tomasa. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: “Your dead ones will live…They will rise up”. And the Bible also says “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it”. Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out”. This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ’s ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering. I hope that these scriptures will be of some comfort to you.

  2. I always loved going into her sewing room with her & teaching us so many ways to put clothes together from simple patterns to (what looked like) a wedding dress 👗. Her home was always so warm & welcoming, I always loved visiting my aunt Tommie when I was little…. 💔😢 She was always happy & cheerful; and her laugh was infectious, it reminded me so much of her mother…. Her cooking was always the best, I always said “walita gave all her good cooking to aunt Tommie”, I just hope she was able to pass on Walita’s receipts…. I am going to miss her….. Heaven truly gained an angel! 😇

  3. Our most sincere and heartfelt condolences.May God be with you through this difficult time.

  4. Tommie, was such a kind loving lady. Few & far between like Tommie. She was the epitome of beauty & grace, humble simplicity all wrapped into one. I never once saw her without her lovely smile. During Jesse’s military career, she proudly stood with him, followed him during assignments, and during deployments faithfully waited for his safe return, she served with him. We thank her for her service alongside him. She will be missed dearly. On this earth, Tommie answered her final call from the Lord, and she has gone home, may our dear friend rest in peace. To be absent from the body, is to in the presence of the Lord. Mr. & Mrs. Rudy Villarreal
