Tranquilino Urias

Tranquilino Hernandez Urias, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Northeast Baptist Hospital at the age of 77. Tranquilino was born on July 6, 1943 in Schumansville, Texas to the late Simon and Carmen Urias. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Simon, Jr.; sisters, Sofia and Estella; mother and father in-law, Genaro and Rebecca Gonzales. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Beatrice G. Urias; children, Vanessa Urias (Nicholas) and Genaro Urias; grandchildren, Waylon, Emily, and Sophia; sisters, Carmen and Lupe; brothers, Eligio, Raymond and Pilar, and favorite sister-in-law, Julie Gonzales. In addition, Tranquilino is survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews. Visiting with the family will be held from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM with the funeral service beginning at 1:30 PM on Friday, June 25, 2021 at the Pentecostal Jerusalem Church. Interment will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery II.
