Vanessa Angelica Villarreal, a resident of Taylor, TX, went to the Lord on Tuesday evening, September 19, 2017 at Seton Medical Center in Round Rock, TX, at the age of 40 surrounded by her family and friends. Vanessa was born on April 28, 1977 in San Antonio and was raised in Austin. She graduated from Bowie High School and worked as an aide in the home health care industry. Vanessa lived for her children. She was a devoted, loving and caring mother who attended all of her daughter's high school and band events. She was very protective of her son and ensured he lived a whole life by participating in his high school activities, along with Special Olympics and many other treasured moments. Vanessa had zest for life. She loved music, being with family, having fun with friends and just living life. There was not a person she met who did not become a friend. Vanessa was also a very giving person; if she could help you, she would. Vanessa will forever be remembered by her daughter, Alexis Villarreal; son, Adraine Pleasant; parents, Sylvia and Ernie Villarreal; sister, Veronica Villarreal, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Perfecto and JV Arguello and Ruben and Mary Villarreal. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with the funeral beginning at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel in New Braunfels.
