Walter L Schlichting, passed away at the age of 67 on June 2, 2021 in New Braunfels. Born on September 10 ,1953 to Lois and Elroy Schlichting, Sr.. Walter is survived by his siblings, Roy, Elroy Jr., Lois, and Peggy. Walter leaves behind his beloved wife, April Brown; 2 sons, Eric and Ian and his wife Rebekah Schlichting, and step son, Joshua Brown; 4 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Walter's Celebration of Life will be held in September 2021 in New Berlin, Tx. Details will follow at a later date.

We will miss you, Uncle Walter!
Uncle Walter was a very kind hearted and loving person and he would always lend a helping hand if someone needed it. He and my dad are the ones who taught me how to ride a 4-wheeler and to get back up and go again if there was ever a incident. We always had such a blast riding 4 wheelers and going creek crawling and mudding and shooting guns on the weekends, and those memories were some of the best that we could’ve made and I’m so happy we did. I love you Uncle Walter. Until I see you again. 😭❤️🙏🏻
