Memories Timeline

  1. I have many fond memories of motorcycle and jeep riding (“Barnelo”) into the Panama jungles with you. Rest in Peace, Winkie Buoy!

  2. Like Tom Stoakley wrote, I have many fond happy memories of our adventures in our blooming youth of teenage adventures and friendships. These happy times have been forever seared in my mind and heart.

  3. Billy & I were old friends from elementary school days. He and his brother, John, were two of my first my dancing partners at Harned & Dunn. Since we lived in adjacent neighborhoods, I used go to their house in the old Williamson Place and watch his father polish stones. Sometimes we’d all go to the Amador Causeway and look for rocks, like jasper and agate. We’d also all ride and race our bikes around Balboa. His mom and my mom would drive to work together since they both worked in Amador. Years later, I briefly ran into Billy in San Francisco. Here is a picture of Billy and me many mango seasons ago at a beach costume party at Amador Beach. Billy always lived life to the max. He was a good guy and will be missed. RIP, buddy.
