Willie Morris Epps

Willie Morris Epps, a resident of Schertz, passed away at her daughter’s home in Cibolo on Monday morning, April 29, 2019 at the age of 93. Willie was born on November 28, 1925 in Austwell, TX to the late Arthur Daniel and Mary Ethel Street Daniel. Ms. Epps was in the crop dusting industry for most of her professional career. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Leon Brown Epps, who passed away on August 8, 2001 and by her brother, Buddy Daniel. Survivors include her daughter, Cassandra Watson and husband, Searl; son, Allen Laurie Russell; grandchildren, Tammy Cowen, Tara Rush and Keith Russell; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Rylee and Joshua, and by her brother, Anthony Daniel and wife, Dorothy. In addition, Willie was aunt to many nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her dearly. A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her loving husband.
