Yolanda Beati

yolanda beati
Yolanda “Mom” Beati was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother during her incredible 90 years of life. She passed away peacefully in the early hours of Friday, December 30, 2022. Yolanda is survived and missed by her loving daughter Maria Idalia “Molly” and son-in-law Luis Alonzo Deleza. Forever cherished and remembered by her grandchildren and family: Linda & (Jayson); Luis “Louie” & (Ally); Mario Deleza (Katie). Absolutely adored by her Great grandchildren: Logan Alberto, Leiya Olivia, Christopher Luke and Luna Skye. We will remember Mom for her unmeasurable love she poured into every single day as well as her playfulness. Mom was truly like a second mother to her grandchildren and the foundation of the family we are today. She molded our hearts to accept, feel and learn the actions of love, and there is no better feeling than being around someone that loves you unconditionally. No judgement, no stress, just warmth and love. Mom was and will always be our feeling of home. We are so lucky to have known that type of unconditional love and I only hope to continue growing that warm, secure, and comfortable bond. Yolanda had a long and full life. She was born on June 7, 1932, in Laredo,Tx, to parents, Rodolfo Mendiola and Giulia Beati. Mom had three sisters Lucia Beati Marquez, Catalina Portillo Garza, Julia G. Portillo and brothers Mr. Rodolfo "Sonny" Mendiola Jr. (Sylvia), Jimmy Mendiola along with niece's and nephews. She moved to Austin, Tx in 1986 where she lived and selflessly dedicated her life to her daughter and grandchildren. Yolanda was an extremely loyal and hard working woman, she ended her career with JCPenny serving 38 years with the company. From there Mom spent the rest of her days enjoying retirement to the fullest, always surrounded by her daughter, grandchildren and great grand children. She filled our cups while we filled hers. We will miss you Mom dearly, but we are so grateful for the time we had to spend with her. We will always feel her presence in our hearts.
