Howard L. Rose

April 22, 1934 ~ September 7, 2020
Howard Lee Rose passed away on September 7, 2020 in New Braunfels, TX, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
He is survived by his wife Ginger Rose, his daughter, Teri Lee Rose, his son Paul Edward Rose and step daughters, Aimee Bellamy Wilburn (James) and Jacquelyn Bellamy Burke (Vincent). He was known as Pop Pop to his 4 step grandchildren; Liam, Fiona, Olivia and Alison.
He served proudly in the USAF as a Flight Engineer.. And later retired from the Methodist Hospital in Elk Grove.
He was preceded in death by his parents Homer Rose and Blanche Robison Rose, his brother Homer Rose, Jr and his two sisters, Irene Campbell-Minick and Mary Louise Williams.
He was laid to rest with his parents in Zion Cemetery, Polk County, IL and was celebrated with full Military Honors. He is dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Thank you to the Staff of wonderful caregivers that loved him and cared for him at Elan Westpointe Memory Care. The uncertainty we felt of being separated from him, has given our family enormous peace knowing that you loved him too. We can never thank you enough.
