Federico A. Trejo

Federico A. Trejo, 56, of New Braunfels, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at his home. Born on November 1, 1968 in Mexico, he was the son of  Federico Trejo and Cristina Arteaga Ayala Trejo.

He was a welder for 20 years. Perico, as he was affectionately known, loved to be around his family, especially at gatherings where he could talk and joke a lot. He also enjoyed cooking and dancing. Even though he was disabled, he never let that hold him back and wanted to do everything anyone else could. He had a very big heart and treated everyone like family. He was very lovable and made friends with everyone he met. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his mother, Perico is survived by his wife, Dora E. Trejo; children, Maurice, Federico, Jr., Eduardo; grandchildren, Elijah, Isaiah, Isabella; siblings, Erendira, Zeturino, Felix, Juana, Jorge, Lupe, and Nestora; and Jhonny, who Federico cared for like a son. 
In addition to his father, Perico was preceded in death by his brother, Martin.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel.
