Oneta Carol Lippert was born in Thacker, West Virginia on August 17, 1941, and passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025 in New Braunfels, Texas with her husband by her side.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Charles A. Lippert, and her three children: Sheri (Russell) Mancuso, Kim Lippert, and John (Kristie) Lippert. She is also survived by grandchildren, Neena (Kenji) Wada and David Mancuso and her greatgrandchildren Miharu and Hiroki Wada.

Oneta was the eldest of 11 siblings, born to Ersel and Beatrice. She is survived by Clarence, Faye, James (Cheryl), Gail, Henry (Karen), Orville (Rebecca), Conrad, and Tina. She was preceded in death by sisters Sue and Nina.

Oneta had a deep love for travel and adventure. She found joy exploring the world, mostly on river and small boat cruises, leaving lasting memories and stories she loved to share. Oneta was someone whose presence made every room warmer and whose love will continue to echo in the lives of all who knew her.

Her legacy of strength, kindness, and devotion will forever be carried by those she leaves behind.

A private celebration of life will be held in January for her immediate family.

  1. I would always joke when I visited about me being her favorite son and she would say “really” and I would say I have to be since I am your only son but that also makes me your least favorite son. Always made her smile.
