ALMA COMELIA MASON Alma Comelia Mason, a resident of Canyon Lake, passed away at her house surrounded by her family on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the age of 49. Alma was born on May 26, 1965 in San Antonio to Jack Shifflett and Shirley Kay Armstrong. She later married David R. Mason. She was preceded in death by her brother, Emmitt Ellis, Jr. and by granny, Ora Bell Armstrong. Survivors include her loving husband, David R. Mason; children, Deseri Purvis, Danielle Howard and Dakota Mason; grandchildren, Izabella Pasquel, Adalynne Purvis and Atticusfinn Purvis; father, Jack Shifflett and wife, Eva; mother, Shirley Ellis and husband, Emmitt; brothers and sisters, Penny Sue Ellis, Frankie Ellis, Jesse Ellis, Michael Kuykendall, Mary Doyle, Tabatha Thompson, Tiffany Large, Laura Garcia and Laronda Devries. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00am on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 7420 FM 2673, Canyon Lake, 78133. Interment will follow at Hill Country Memorial Gardens.
