Amber Danielle Cortez, age 38, passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by Family Monday, July 22, 2024. Amber was born on January 20, 1986 in New Braunfels, Texas.

She graduated from Canyon High in 2004. Amber had a huge passion for early childhood education. She worked at ACLC for 10 plus years. She wore many hats starting as a floater then became a Pre K Teacher and was promoted to The Assistant Director.

She is a mom to 4 handsome boys. They enjoyed their special times together at the river. She loved spending time with family BBQing and watching The Dallas Cowboys. Her favorite pastime was taking walks with their dog goldy.

Amber liked going to concerts and listening to live music. She was always down to Pop open a beer with anyone.

Amber is preceded in death by Grandparents, Alexander G. & Rosa V. Rosales and Lupita DeLeon. She is survived by her parents Alex and Terry Martinez; Her husband, Marx Campos; her boys, Anson, Tevin, Raiden and Maverick Cortez; Sisters, Stephanie (Adrian) Lopez, and Miranda Martinez; Brother, Alexander Martinez and best friend, Rob Vela. Amber is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins, aunts, Mary Reyes, Letty Garcia, Kelly Rosales and Marivel Tagle; and Uncles Nick, Alex (B.B.), John Rosales, Joe Barrientos, Victor Garcia and Agapito Tagle.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel.
