Arturo Mata

Arturo "Crockett" Mata, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Colonial Manor Care Center at the age of 73. Mr. Mata was born on April 22, 1938 in Converse to Felipe Mata, Sr. and Susana Salinas Mata. He is survived by his daughter, Leticia Mata and husband, Manuel Hernandez, Sr.; grandchildren, Manuel Hernandez, Jr., Brandon and Alexis Hernandez; sisters, Maria Anita Castaneda and Juanita Campos and husband, Daniel "Palco". In addition, numerous nieces and nephews survive Arturo as well. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church, followed by the Funeral Mass, which starts at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.
