Barbara Gail Hoffman

Barbara Gail Hoffman, age 79, passed away August 9, 2023 at her home in Cibolo, TX, 78108, surrounded by family. She was born on September 8, 1943 in San Antonio, TX to Rinehart and Dorothy Moehrig. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. She worked as a secretary for over 20 years and raised two sons as a single mother.

Barbara enjoyed arts and crafts, country music (Alan Jackson and George Strait in particular), dancing and most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends. She was the most loving, caring person and would go out of her way to help others.

Barbara is survived by her son, Charles Hoffman and wife Kelly; grandson, Charles Hoffman, Jr.; granddaughter, Giselle Hoffman. She is also survived by her sisters, Beverly Sheibe, Charlotte Young, and Joyce Moehrig and their families.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Rinehart and Dorothy Moehrig; brother, Rinehart Moehrig, Jr. “Sonny”; and her son, Jerry Hoffman, Jr.

Visitation will be held on August 18, 2023 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Lux Funeral, 1254 N Business Ih 35, New Braunfels, TX with a service to start at 7:00pm.
